The Tzaddikim (from Hebrew Tzadik, “righteous one”) are anonymous crime-fighters and investigators in the Oubliette, sometimes described as vigilantes and sometimes as police. In The Quantum Thief, they investigate the suspected presence of Jean le Flambeur in the Oubliette and his attempts to steal Time.
